Slurry pumps are designed for pumping abrasive and corrosive slurries, immersed in sumps or excavations. The pump does not have a shaft seal.
Hard metal and rubber parts are optional for different applications and are interchangeable. Slurry pump is widely used for feeding slurries to a hydrocyclone or pressure filter in mining, mineral recycling, mine dewatering, flue gas desulfurization in power plants, coal washing, metallurgy, pulp and paper production, and chemical industries.
